Not at all! All beginner courses for ages 7โ11 start from absolute zero โ no experience needed. For intermediate courses (ages 12โ15+), basic computer comfort helps, but even complete beginners catch up quickly.
A laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection is enough for all courses.
